Q1 2021 UK Android Performance of Top Cooking Games

In the first quarter of 2021, the UK's Android platform saw varied performances among the top five cooking game applications. Data from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of these trends.

Cooking Diary® Restaurant Game, published by Mytona from Russia, showed a downward trend in both downloads, decreasing from 3K in the last week of December to 606 in the final week of March, and weekly active users, which fell from 25K to approximately 15K in the same period. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at 28K in mid-January before settling around 23K at the quarter's end.

My Cafe — Restaurant Game by Melsoft Games Ltd of Israel also experienced a decline in downloads from 4.5K to about 2K. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 15K to roughly 12K, while revenue witnessed some volatility, reaching a high of 19K in mid-February before dropping to 11K by the end of March.

Cooking Madness: A Chef's Game bucked the trend with an initial increase in downloads to 5.6K in late January, but then saw a decline to 2.9K by the close of the quarter. Weekly active users peaked at 34K in late January and then decreased to 27K. Revenue showed a slight downward trend from 15K to around 12K.

The US-based Bingo Frenzy-Live Bingo Games from Gluon Interactive Ltd., despite not being a traditional cooking game, is included due to its culinary theme. It saw an increase in downloads from 732 to over 1.7K and a rise in weekly active users from 8.9K to 10.8K. Revenue notably increased from 5.7K to 8.8K over the quarter.

Lastly, Cooking Fever: Restaurant Game by Nordcurrent Games of Lithuania showed a decrease in downloads from 5.9K to 4.7K, while weekly active users dwindled from 59K to 52K. Revenue exhibited a slight decrease from 7.3K to 6K.
